My thoughts on www.michaeljackson.com

"I'll always miss you.

As a medical professional, a person with chronic pain and life long fan all I can say is I will miss you. It's easy to forget how simple actions can cause such great tragedy especially when there is a legitimate problem. I can only hope that this will serves as a message to others to be careful and watch out. Your family, children, friends and fans will be in my prayers. I pray God the Father is holding you now Michael, you deserve peace."

I am so tired and sick of seeing nasty jokes and comments about Michael Jackson. It's one thing to be a jerk when someone's alive it's quite another to be one when they're dead.

He was a lovely, gentle and brilliant man. Never convicted and more evidence to his innocence than not.

Heck I've been accused of being a Nazi but that doesn't make me one now does it?

RIP Michael. You may not have had a father in this life nor a very happy life but now you're with your real Father (God) now.

I just finish my "homework" for therapy tomorrow and if I didn't know any better I'd think I was a wee bit schizo lol.

I'm hoping I'll be able to actually talk and get into some things. During my first session it was more "hey how are ya" and she did most of the talking. Of course I expected that but now I'm ready to actually do something so I'm not wasting my time with therapy, case managers, being "told" what to do by the State etc.

I go to the doctor(s) 1-3 times a month and I'll be going to therapy twice a month. As of today (and I didn't know this when I signed up for all this crap) my case manager will be coming to the apartment twice a month as well to "check up" on me. So that's what 5-6 "official" thingies a month?

I'm depressed, not homicidal. Oh well, it's only week 3 of all this so of course I'll give it more time. At least I have a good motivation for keeping things extra clean at home haha.

Since I got that nice little check today I'll head out early tomorrow and visit a few pawn shops to see if I can't get some silver dollars on the cheap. I already got one for base value which made me happy.

One last thing. As of today, I still haven't had any major health episodes since my last visit to the ER, 2 1/2 weeks ago. That makes me uber happy.

This is just one more example of the amateurish behaviour of this administration and follows Soviet style political tactics by labeling someone who disagrees as a mental case.

Ok so heres what happened to my car and the ending you can blame on my friend Mike.

So the warning light wasn't working and the oil pump went out. Because of that the car blew a rod. See that's what happens when you don't have enough lube, you get rods blowing prematurely and nobody wants that. ;)

lmao

Oh well I wanted a new car anyway, just got to wait another month.

Have I ever said how much carpel tunnel sucks? lol Well it does! Not to mention the fact that it's in my left hand...being that I'm left handed.

As part of my attempt to gain weight I've noticed the past week I have eaten each day:

2 Cups of chocolate milk (440cal)

3-4 1oz sausage's (210-280cal)

1 Grilled sandwich (175cal)

1 Nachos w cheese (300cal)

Around 6 cookies w milk (420cal)

Plus the other things I eat a day which usually doesn't exceed 600 cal.

So from 600cal a day I am now eating approx. 2,045cal per day. That means that I am gaining around 1/3-1/2 lb a day! :D

When I was working with kids some were losing weight due to terminal illness and what the doctors and nutritionists use to pile the weight back up or at least try to keep it stable is believe it or not, peanut butter.

You get a list of recipes where you add peanut butter to everything. Sooo if you want to gain weight try peanut butter.

My Heart's In The Highlands

-------------------------------------------------------------------

My heart's in the Highlands, my heart is not here,

My heart's in the Highlands a-chasing the deer -

A-chasing the wild deer, and following the roe;

My heart's in the Highlands, wherever I go.

Farewell to the Highlands, farewell to the North

The birth place of Valour, the country of Worth;

Wherever I wander, wherever I rove,

The hills of the Highlands for ever I love.

Farewell to the mountains high cover'd with snow;

Farewell to the straths and green valleys below;

Farewell to the forrests and wild-hanging woods;

Farwell to the torrents and loud-pouring floods.

My heart's in the Highlands, my heart is not here,

My heart's in the Highlands a-chasing the deer

Chasing the wild deer, and following the roe;

My heart's in the Highlands, whereever I go.

The Lia Fáil on Tara Hill.

This is traditionally the place where the High Kings of Ireland were installed. Included in this group were Cairbre Riada and the Uí Néill 254AD-405AD. My earliest known European ancestors.

According to legend the stone would shout out the name of the true king when he placed his foot on it.

A similar legend follows into the Kingdom of Dalriada

This footprint in Dunadd was where the traditional kings were determined.

Known "Firsts":

1. Tefnakht I Pharaoh 732–725 BC the Lybian Prince of Sais.

2. 254-273 Cairbre Riada established his Kingdom in Ireland.

3. In 502 AD Fergus with Lorn and Angus lead a great invasion of the land of Dalriada, becoming the region called Argyll including the islands of Islay. Fergus Mor was the first King of Scottish Dal Riata c.500-501 AD.

4. Kenneth I mac Alpin 841-859, Kingdom of Alba.

5. Duncan I the Gracious 1034-1040, Kingdom of Scotland.

6. Anne, 6 February 1665 – 1 August 1714 became Queen of England, Scotland and Ireland on 8 March 1702.

7. The first of my family in the US came to America in the mid 1740's.

Between 1040 and 1665 my direct family fell out of real power during the several wars between England and Scotland. For the most part after 1400 my direct family served not as royals but teachers, diplomats, priests etc. Queen Anne is however, the first member of my family (by blood but not personally direct) to rule over England. This of course does mean that I'm related to Queen Elizabeth II but not by much.

All of this is coming from my fathers side. The general history following on my mother side is much more heavily involved in Europe as a whole and goes back to the The Ertebølle culture (ca 5300 BC-3950 BC) aka modern Denmark. Of course beyond 500BC it's nearly impossible to get much detailed information so I switch from names and written evidence to genetics.

I suppose I'll start with the sorta good news. I spent most of yesterday in the ER, hooked up to machines, tubes in me and all that fun stuff. After dealing with my various GI issues and once again going several days without eating and having a fever I simply couldn't wait any longer.

They gave me a blood and urine test as well as abdominal CT with contrast. Other than being obviously dehydrated (for which I got a loverly bag of saline pumped into my little arm) they said the blood work and CT came back perfectly normal. Now, on one hand it's good news because it means I don't have an infection, blockage, intestinal wall thickening or other possibly fatal or "ugly" condition. However, it still doesn't help whats going on. Some how I am going to have to have a colonoscopy (like a serious must have) to make sure there isn't something else going on that a CT would not pick up.

I do feel better today although I've lost 7lbs putting me back at 121lbs and I'm still pretty darn weak.

I went to the pain dr today who also concurred that I needed the colonoscopy and said I needed to check up with my PCP (which thanks to the only person who's helped with things like this I'll be able to see this Monday). I got my regular pain meds but they also gave me some sample meds for my migraines which is the only decent thing this doctor has done in the 2 years I've been going to him.

This concludes the sorta good news portion.

Several days ago my car broke down and at first it looked as though all it needed was a new oil pump. Today I find out that actually because of the failed pump the motor bent a rod and the cost to fix it would be around $1900...more than the current value of the car. So now I have no means of transportation other than whenever my brother is able to take me to one place or another. There is no telling when I'll be able to get a 'new' car.

The other bad news is the fact that I need a colonoscopy. Not just because it isn't the most fun of tests but because well I have no means of getting one. I spoke with my lawyer the other day and said it could be another 18 months from this month before I know the outcome of my disability claim.

One actual good thing is the fact that I'll be able to get free counseling and free general medical care as in migraines, colds etc because of a local programme.

And now I'm just getting pissed. I think I'll stop using this portion of my journal. I'm tired of talking, tired of having strangers come up and think that I want to spend hours and days dealing with their trivial issues ("my boyfriend doesn't love me" "I think I have cancer because my poo looked funny" etc) and I'm also tired of g*d's f*k ups calling me a liar. Oh, and I'm also tired of being an open book. VR has been the only place I've tried to be open in this way and almost zero good has come about from it.

So bye bye X-Man Section, at least as it's currently used.

One last thing. The "Whale Wars"/ "Sea Shepard" folks are the epitome of waisted human life. They are the most armature, self-righteous morons on Earth and their actions have probably done more harm to ecosystem than good. I HATE environmentalists who think a persons life is worth loosing to save any single animal and those who think they are above the law simply because "we must save the Earth from humanity". Dumb shits.

I totally f*d my back up. Here is how....

"Once upon a time I was a very active person, track and field, soccer, baseball, basketball, hiking and mountain climbing. I was built for speed and the outdoors. Then one day I got sick and for over a year I did not, no could not run, because of the physical difficulties and because my doctors tell me that large amounts of exercise like running increases my chances of heart failure aka sudden cardiac death and over time will make joint pain etc worse. Well after such a long time of being like some old fragile person I decided to take a walk which turned out to be not a walk. The night was wonderful, cool, clear skies, a nice breeze and I was feeling great so I thought to myself 'How about a little jog?' Instead of a simple jog it turned into a sprint, 1/5 mile in 50 seconds (which could translate into a 4:10 minute mile..which was broken in 1931, world record is 3:43min *Records started in 1865*). After collapsing and around a 30 minute break I was feeling alright and rather proud of my 128lb self who hadn't ran in over a year.

I woke up this morning, went to church, went to lunch and now I wish I were dead :) It seems as though not only did I compress both ankles but I also completely misaligned the my lower back muscles.

The End"

So yeah, me no feel well and I have nothing to help out with the extra pain. Oh well. Perhaps I should try a mile walk before I take a hit at the record books huh? haha
